Colby Lapolla (she/her) is a producer, vocal producer, engineer, and songwriter in Los Angeles with a meticulous ear who specializes in pop and all its subsets, R&B, and alternative. After cutting her teeth in Nashville for a decade, Colby does it all.
In late 2021, her sync project, girl fieri, landed a prominent spot on Selling Sunset, and was subsequently signed to a deal with RISER, licensing powerhouse Safari Riot’s record label (debut EP released October 2023). Colby’s entire discography, released and unreleased, is represented by a variety of major licensors, and her self-titled project’s sophomore single spent a full two months on Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Pop. Tracks she has worked on have amassed millions of streams.
In May of 2023, Colby was granted the only full scholarship to the weeklong Mix With the Masters seminar at Studios La Fabrique in Saint Rémy de Provence, courtesy of We Are Moving the Needle, where she learned from and worked alongside Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo (“Despacito,” among many others).
As a vocal producer, she has what many artists have called the “magic” of pulling out career high vocal takes incredibly easily and quickly, due in part to mentorship by vocal production giants. Labeled a “global hitmaker” by several prolific creators, she plans to live up to the title.

Colby is a voting member of the Producers & Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy. She also works with / is a member of She Is the Music, We Are Moving the Needle, SongWriteClub, a founding member of SongWriteClub Sync, and an inaugural member of the Keychange US Talent Development Program.
